Features
Driftguide system: The car features a special 360-degree drift mechanism. This system can be easily converted to a standard fixed conductor by placing the two screws included.
MagnatractionTM: Equipped with adjustable magnets to adjust the road holding and magnetic pressure on the track as desired.
Robust design: No detailed interior and one-colour window panes, which makes the car lighter and less vulnerable to crashes ('Super Resistant').
Digital: Please note, this specific model is not suitable by default for a direct conversion to the digital Scalextric system.
The Scalextric slot car is based on a real, legendary demonstration and racing car from the Japanese tuning and drift culture of the 2000s.
The real car was the GReddy Twin Turbo Nissan 350Z (Z33), built by the famous Japanese tuning giant TRUST/GReddy.
What made the real GReddy 350Z so special?
The Twin-Turbo setup: Where the factory-Nissan 350Z had an atmospheric 3.5L V6 (VQ35DE) with some 287 hp, GReddy screwed an intercooled twin-turbo kit on it (with legendary TD05-18G turbos). This lifted the power directly to over 400 to 500+ hp, depending on the adjustment.
The GReddy GT Widebody Kit: The car was equipped with an aggressive, wide body kit developed by TRUST in Japan from fiberglass. This kit was so iconic that he won the prestigious "Best Japanese Import GT Award" at the famous SEMA Show in 2007.
The Drift icon: The car was used by GReddy as a promotional and demo car to show what the platform could do in professional drift series such as the D1 Grand Prix (D1GP) and Formula Drift. Scalextric has adopted this particular model with the recognizable blue-and-white GReddy stickering layout for their 'Drift' toy line
