The Aston Martin DBR9 #5 DHL is a well-known slot car model (race car at scale) released by Scalextric (and under the name Superslot in some markets), based on the iconic GT1 endurance racer.

Key features of the model:

Scale & Reference Numbers:
Scalextric 1:32 scale: Reference C2790 (commonly supplied in original packaging/OVP with working front and rear lights and DHL logos).
Superslot reference: S2790.
Scalextric Micro (1:64 scale): DHL Dynamite Black #5 variant.

The real Aston Martin DBR9/5:
In the real racing world, chassis number DBR9/5 has a special story: although a single chassis number normally indicates a 'works' (factory) car, DBR9/5 was not used as a factory car at the time, but was used by Bell Motorsports.
The real DBR9 is equipped with a 6.0L V12 engine, carbon fiber body and booked large sucksesses in the GT1 class (such as wins at Le Mans in 2007 and 2008)
