The Peugeot 206 WRC with starting number #3 was driven in the 2002 World Rally Championship (WRC) by the Finnish rally driver Harri Rovanperä and his navigator Risto Pietiläinen (sometimes registered with Voitto Silander or Timo Hantunen depending on the rally).

Technical Specifications (#3 - 2002)

Engine: 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine (XU10J4RS)
Power: Approximately 300 to 325 hp at 5,250 rpm
Torque: 535 Nm
Transmission: All-wheel drive (4WD) with a sequential six-speed transmission
Weight: 1,230 kg (minimum weight according to FIA regulations)

Season 2002 Highlights for car #3

Rovanperä's factory performance with start number #3 was mainly aimed at selected rallies; for example, he drove in the #3 Peugeot Total car to a strong 4th place in the Acropolis Rally and participated in classics such as the Rally of Finland and Rallye Deutschland.

Peugeot won the world title among manufacturers in 2002 thanks to the dominance of the 206 WRC, and Marcus Grönholm became champion among the drivers.

AUTOart released the iconic 2002 Peugeot 206 WRC #3 as a highly detailed 1:32 scale slot car (item number 13501). While the real-life #3 factory car was driven by Harri Rovanperä in several events, this specific slot car model replicates the car driven to victory by tarmac specialist Gilles Panizzi at the 2002 Tour de Corse (Rally of Corsica).

Key Features of the AUTOart 1:32 Slot Car
• Exceptional Die-Cast Level Detail: AUTOart is famous for its static die-cast models. They brought that exact precision to this slot car, featuring a fully detailed interior (including driver, co-driver, and roll cage), fine wipers, and realistic brake discs.
• Drivetrain: It features a four-wheel-drive (4WD) system driven by a unique belt or shaft mechanism, a signature trait of AUTOart's rally slot cars.
• Lighting: The model comes equipped with working headlights and taillights.
