The Slotcar
The Slot.it Mazda 787B "Efini" #18 (article number CA15a) is an iconic slotcar on scale 1:32. This model is based on Mazda's legendary Group C race car with rotation engine (Wankel engine).

The Real Car
The car with this specific Efini-livery (characterized by the striking green-white-yellow colour scheme) was driven by the drivers Yojiro Terada and Maurizio Sandro Sala. They drove for Mazdaspeed during the 430 km of Autopolis in 1991, the eighth and final round of the World Sportscar Championship (WSC). The team finished 9th overall and 2nd in the C2 class.

Note: Although Mazda won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1991 with the well-known orange-green Renown-livery (car #55), the car with start number 18 in Le Mans was driving a blue-and-white Mazdaspeed color scheme at the time. The Efini-livery is specific to the race in Autopolis.
