The Scalextric Aston Martin DBR9 "60 Years" (model number C3830A) is a limited 1:32 slotcar released in 2017 in honor of the 60th anniversary of Scalextric. This particular car represents the era of the 2000s within the special seven-part 60th Anniversary Collection.
Features of the C3830A
Limited edition: The car is part of a unique collection series where each model represents a specific decade of Scalextric history.
Digitally prepared: The model is Digital Plug Ready (DPR), which means that it can easily be made digitally with a separate C8515 decoder chip.
Lighting: Equipped with working taillights and headlights with a xenon look.

Quick-change: Features Easy change pickups to replace the tow contacts under the car quickly and without tools.

The real Aston Martin Racing DBR9 debuted in 2005 and grew to become one of the most iconic GT1 cars of the 2000s. The car achieved legendary successes, including two class victories in the LMGT1 class during the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2007 and 2008. Because Scalextric first released the DBR9 slot car itself in 2006, the model was the ultimate choice for the manufacturer to cash in on this decade.
